History and Focus

Founded in 1978, Molding Products LLC, an operating business of IP Corporation, supplies sheet molding composites (SMC) to the growing compression molding industry. Today, the company remains focused on providing industry-leading, custom-formulated molding compounds for a wide variety of industries and applications.

 

While Molding Products is not in the custom-molding business and is not competing with you, we expanded operations to include strategic alliances. These partnerships provide customers with comprehensive concept to final product solutions. Services provided through these partnerships offer customers mold prototyping, presses and contract manufacturing of molded products.

 

These expanded capabilities enable Molding Products to assist customers with mold designs, mold construction and initial onsite mold evaluations and development of custom sheet molding composites. A full-service company, Molding Products helps give shape to hundreds of diverse products in:
